The Way To Freedom

Liberty and Freedom are often used interchangeably.  No matter which one you use there is a vital concept often missing when the subjects of freedom or liberty are considered.  In this Church we use different meanings for each word.  Click here for the information on "liberty" and read this page for the reference to "freedom."

The concept of "freedom" in this Church leads to much more than "freedom from" something, but rather "freedom to do something."

You have certain inherent rights, and certain innate powers that you may not be exercising because you lack freedom to do so.  There may even be "rights" of which you have been unaware.  Members of the Church may take courses to learn about, even practice, these rights.  Taking and passing such courses helps make you become eligible for higher levels of Membership in the  Church.  Members also, by doing good deeds, and performing acts of compassion, can improve their eligibility for access to these higher levels and the Church teachings on how to prosper and flourish in this society -- yet accomplish this material success while following a moral compass and exchanging with your fellows so as to create a more civil society.

This subject of "freedom" is developed much more completely in an electronic course which is free to anyone.  Click here to register for this interactive course on the form of "freedom" offered by the Church of Compassionate Service.
