Church Prosperity

Member Responsibilities

Most churches seem to find it necessary to amass large vaults of cash and mostly hidden assets.

Consider the speculation that the "Church of Rome" is worth openly admitted billions of dollars and undoubted trillions hidden away in places no government could ever find it.  The Vatican also supports an administrative staff of tens of thousands of people, from Cardinals to Priests, school teachers to nurses.  Probably no group could ever grow this large and retain even a semblance of efficiency and productivity without adopting modern management technology. This Church has that management technology to teach in the higher Levels of Membership and expects its Senior Ministers to become very efficient and very productive "managers" of the money and tools belonging to the Church but intended to be "used" by these Senior Ministers to do good deeds and perform acts of compassion.

This Church of Compassionate Service has a very different philosophy on this than large centralized organizations -- aims at no centralized accumulation of worldly possessions within its vaults and aspires to no creation of a large "Church Staff."

The Church of Compassionate Service headquarters operates on a tiny budget and administrative staff -- preferring to give the authority to Ministers in the field to do good deeds, themselves, rather than control such activity from a central location.  The image on the left portrays the usual organization, with much authority and governance at the top and field operations that are very junior. The Church of Compassionate Service is quite different from this model.

It might even be true that a centralized authority would be "more efficient" in an administrative sense, but in terms of the human involvement by our Members, we much prefer to place all the responsibility, and the resources, at the finger tips of the Members themselves.

We have a "magic weapon" when it comes to organizational structure.  Every "unit" in this Church manufactures the exact same thing -- and there is NO need for any central control over these many units -- other than strict accounting of funds and tools used and results obtained.

So, the "prosperity" of this Church does NOT lie with any balance sheet of central assets, but with the completely dispersed funds and authorities of its Senior Ministers in the field.

At Level One you can and should contribute to the prosperity of this Church not by donating money that would be held in central reserves, but in publicizing the good deeds and acts of compassion done by yourself and the other Members of the Church.  It is not even the central (small) staff of this Church which does the publicity, but individual members, as they do good deeds, and give credit to the Church for their inspiration.  You bring prosperity to the Church, in terms of public image, by publicizing your good deeds.

A Church with a growing public image of doing good, and an obvious lack of central affluence will demonstrate the prosperity of ideas, not money, and the prosperity of good results achieved, not plans looking for budgets.

Notice also that many religions get involved in social issues, and become very unpopular with some segments of society.  We expect to be universally accepted by any and every other member of any religion in the world.  We do NOT preach or teach anything in conflict with their religious dogma.  We believe in God.  Every church we know of teaches that same fundamental principle.

Other churches may have this or that further religious practice -- we have only "do good deeds."  We don't know of any church that would disagree with that duty.

Your requirement, in terms of contributing to the prosperity of this Church, lies in the good deeds you do, in the name of the Church.  The world is more and more becoming recognized as a "PR World" where emotions, rather than logic rule.  It is not enough to do good deeds, but you must proclaim them -- and as eligibility for formal Membership you must document at least one good deed  which you have done, within the last year, influenced to do it by this Church, and where the printed or recorded publicity includes acknowledgment of the Church of Compassionate Service as the source of your inspiration.

When you have entered the Level One Membership, this same requirement rises from ONE per year to a modestly increased number.  We do not slack off when we become more senior in this Church.

"Good" PR must be truthful -- when PR depends on lies, it will eventually backfire. So, do your contribution of good deeds, and acts of compassion, in the name of the Church of Compassionate Service, and get media coverage of these deeds and acts.   THAT will constitute the true prosperity of this Church -- it will be measured in "column inches" of good press and "TV sound bites" with good and truthful mention of our Church.

More will come to these pages, from such publicity, than you can ever reach with an expensive recruiting campaign.

Help us become "prosperous" by building the actuality and image of a Church that does good deeds, and performs acts of compassionate service.

YOU do the deed.  YOU get the publicity.  We publicize your success.
